Our network of more than 59,000 kilometres (36,500 miles) of natural gas pipeline taps the major natural gas supply basins in North America. We are now expanding into oil pipeline projects. TransCanada is one of the continent's largest providers of gas storage and related services with approximately 370 billion cubic feet of storage capacity. That's sufficient to meet the needs of four million homes for a year. As a growing independent power producer, we own, control or are developing approximately 10,900 megawatts of power generation–enough to power 11 million homes.
