TransCanada has the largest natural gas pipeline system in North America with a network of wholly owned pipelines extending more than 60,000 kilometres (37,000 miles) as well as more than 7,900 kilometers (4,900 miles) of partially owned pipelines. This network taps into virtually all major gas supply basins in North America. In fact, TransCanada delivers approximately 20 per cent of the natural gas consumed in North America.
In addition, TransCanada is North America’s second largest natural gas storage operator with approximately 380 billion cubic feet of storage capacity.
