TransCanada recently applied to the National Energy Board (NEB) for a 2005 Eastern Zone interim toll of $1.16/GJ to be made effective January 1, 2005.  In the event that circumstances change to impact the Eastern Zone toll by an amount in excess of $0.03/GJ, an adjustment to the interim tolls is in place.

The applied for interim toll of $1.16/GJ represents a reduction from the current 2004 interim toll of $1.189/GJ. TransCanada expects a response from the NEB shortly.
