TransCanada recently applied to the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) to approve Interim Rates for 2005.  A Customer letter detailing the application was mailed out on November 23, 2004.

In addition to the Interim Rates for 2005, TransCanada has also applied to the EUB to make 2004 Alberta System interim rates final.   By year end TransCanada will file a 2005 General Rate Application Phase 1, and by April 1, 2005 will file a Phase 2 application with the EUB, to establish rates for the Alberta System for 2005.   As decisions on these GRAs are not expected until later in 2005, an interim rate filing for 2005 was required. 

Once approval is received, changes will be applied to the Alberta Pricing section of Customer Express.
