Topolobampo and Mazatlan Pipelines

In 2012 TransCanada was awarded two pipeline projects in the Northwest region of Mexico – the Topolobampo and Mazatlan Pipelines . The pipelines, expected to be in-service in 2016, will connect U.S. natural gas to key demand centers along the Pacific Coast of Mexico. Once in service, the two projects together will add 586 miles (943 kilometres) of pipeline that will transport more than 670 million cubic feet a day to meet Mexico’s growing demand for natural gas.
