PALS Parking and Loan Service

Description of Service:

  • Park or loan natural gas for any term on the Canadian Mainline System (subject to availability).

Key Features and Benefits:

  • Ideal for mitigating unused demand charges, balancing with your natural gas supplier or distributor, or taking advantage of market price fluctuations.
  • Parks and loans are subject to TransCanada’s ability to handle them under existing line pack conditions.
  • Interruptible priority.

How to Access this Service:

  • Sign a PALS Contract with TransCanada.
  • When you are interested in the service, discuss your price requirements with the Volume Planners. If an agreement is reached, submit a completed Exhibit “A” from the PALS Contract to TransCanada, indicating the service specifics and toll.
