How to…
1. See our job postings: Search to browse current openings. If you have a specific job reference code (from a newspaper ad, online job board, or other source) enter it in the search field.
2. Apply for a job: If you have located a job opening of interest, click the “Apply” button in the posting.
- The first time you apply for a job with us, fill in the online application form. You will be asked to create an account with your own username and password. Read and accept the data privacy statement (select the checkbox at the bottom of the page). Take note of your username and password as you will need them next time you come back. You will then be able to create a candidate profile (see below).
- If you already have an account and candidate profile with us, select “Application Wizard” on the application form so that you don’t have to re-enter all your personal information. Login with your username and password when prompted.
3. Track the status of your application(s): Once you have created an account and applied for one or more positions, you can Log In anytime to check the status of your applications. Under the Job Postings menu, choose “Applications”.
4. Register with TransCanada Careers without applying for a specific posting: Register to create an account and candidate profile, and send us your resume, without applying for a specific job posting. We keep this information on file for future reference.
5. Keep your profile up to date: Once you have created an account, you can Log In anytime to update your candidate profile. Under the Candidate Profile menu, choose “Candidate Profile”.
Your Candidate Profile
You must create an account and candidate profile to apply for a job with TransCanada.
The information contained in your candidate profile allows us to match your skills with current and future job openings. It includes a summary of your work experience, education, qualifications, and your areas of interest. You may provide as much or as little information as you wish in your candidate profile. You should attach your resume in addition to the information you supply in your candidate profile.
Once you register and create a candidate profile, you can log in as often as you like to update your skills, experience and personal information.
All profiles will be retained in our database for one year following the last date you modify your information. If a future position matches your skills and experience, we may contact you when the job opportunity becomes available.
Be assured that your information will remain confidential. |
