If you have located a job you're interested in, click the "Apply" button in the posting.

  • The first time you apply for a job with us you will be asked to create an account with your own username and password. Read and accept the data privacy statement (select the checkbox at the bottom of the page). You will then be able to create a candidate profile. At minimum, we require your contact information and your resume. You can attach it using the attachments tab. Take note of your username and password as you will need them next time you come back.
  • If you already have an account and candidate profile with us, you can login with your username and password when prompted.

Once you've created your candidate profile, you can log in anytime to update your information. We will retain your profile for one year following the last date you changed your information. Be assured that your information will remain confidential.

Fraud Alert

TransCanada is aware that some job seekers have received false recruitment offers from individuals or organizations posing as TransCanada, its subsidiaries or organizations that TransCanada entrusts with recruitment efforts. Please keep in mind these important tips that distinguish legitimate TransCanada recruitment practices and offers from illegitimate ones:

  • On occasion, TransCanada will accept resumes from approved third-party vendors for career opportunities posted on our career website,
  • TransCanada does not require payment from anyone seeking employment at any time during the recruitment and/or selection process.
  • TransCanada does not make early requests for personal information, including passport information. Passport details are rarely requested and may only be requested to verify a candidate's eligibility to work in Canada if a work or student permit has already been obtained.
  • Formal offers of employment are only made once the recruitment and selection process is complete.
  • Legitimate emails from TransCanada end in Illegitimate emails may come from email addresses that are similar.
