Formerly two separate management teams (System Design & Operations and Customer Service) System Design & Commercial Operations is responsible for managing all day-to-day transactions (contract administration, nominations, allocations, invoicing) with our customers and interconnecting pipelines and maintaining a seven day/week customer call centre. Additionally, this team is also responsible for the safe and efficient design and operation of TransCanada's Alberta, Canadian Mainline and Foothills systems, including receipt and delivery forecasting, facilities planning, gas quality tariff management, daily operations planning, capacity management and control of the pipeline systems.
