GasFair Power 2003 was postponed in May 2003 due to concerns related to SARS and the World Health Organization travel advisory for Toronto.
Bringing the natural gas and electricity industries together to explore mutually beneficial market opportunities and discuss emerging market developments, issues and strategies -- That's just what attendees of GasFair Power 2003 intend to do on August 18-20 in Toronto, Ontario.

TransCanada is pleased to again support the 12th Annual North American Natural Gas and Electricity conference and tradeshow.

"GasFair Power 2003 is the largest natural gas and power conference in Canada. Our participation allows us to directly contact and share information with many industry participants from all over North America," says Cliff Taylor, Sales Manager - Eastern End Users and Interconnects, TransCanada.

The two-day conference program features over 40 speakers on topics such as:

  • Supply
  • Deregulation
  • Credit and Risk
  • Eastern U.S. and Canada Energy Supply and Market Developments
  • Energy Purchasing
  • Inter-Jurisdictional Market Design
  • Energy, Environment and Technology
  • E-Procurement

Craig Frew, TransCanada's Vice President, Gas Transmission, East will speak on the North American Executive Energy Forum panel discussing Markets in Crisis and Transformation on August 19, 2003.
