> Max Feldman's New Role
TransCanada would like to acknowledge Max Feldman in his new role as Vice President, Gas Transmission, West.

TransCanada recognizes the diverse needs of our customer base and continual change facing the industry. We have adapted our organization to better meet the challenges we face.

Max is now accountable for all commercial gas transmission activities in the Western Zone, comprised of all North American wholly and partly owned pipelines west of Winnipeg, including the Alberta System, B.C. System, western Canadian Mainline System, as well as TransCanada's interests in Foothills, Northern Border, and Tuscarora pipelines.

He will work closely with TransCanada's Business Development team to achieve the connection of northern gas supply - both Alaska and the Mackenzie Delta.

"There are many short and long term challenges as well as opportunities in my new role," says Max. "I look forward to working collaboratively with our customers to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the service we provide."

Max brings over 33 years of industry experience to his new role, with the most recent years focussing on functions related to service for customers of all three of TransCanada's 100 per cent owned regulated pipelines in Canada.

Since joining TransCanada in September 1984, Max has held various positions within our regulated gas transmission business in Canada, with executive level positions since 1990.

Prior to joining TransCanada, Max worked at Amoco Canada Petroleum Co. Ltd. in the Producing Department from 1970 to 1974, and for the Federal Government Departments of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and Energy, Mines and Resources from 1974 to 1984.

He graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical) and from the University of Ottawa in 1979 with a Masters degree in Business Administration. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta and currently serves on the Board for the Ontario Energy Association.
