He will work closely
with TransCanada's Business Development team to achieve
the connection of northern gas supply - both Alaska and
the Mackenzie Delta.
"There are many short and long term challenges as well
as opportunities in my new role," says Max. "I look
forward to working collaboratively with our customers
to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the service
we provide."
Max brings over 33 years of industry experience to
his new role, with the most recent years focussing on
functions related to service for customers of all three
of TransCanada's 100 per cent owned regulated pipelines
in Canada.
Since joining TransCanada in September 1984, Max has
held various positions within our regulated gas transmission
business in Canada, with executive level positions since
1990.
Prior to joining TransCanada, Max worked at Amoco Canada
Petroleum Co. Ltd. in the Producing Department from
1970 to 1974, and for the Federal Government Departments
of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and Energy,
Mines and Resources from 1974 to 1984.
He graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1970
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
and from the University of Ottawa in 1979 with a Masters
degree in Business Administration. He is a member of
the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists
and Geophysicists of Alberta and currently serves on
the Board for the Ontario Energy Association.
