> Timely Access . . . your way
TransCanada is currently offering an Open Season on our Canadian Mainline System, where customers can access firm pipeline capacity through a bidding process.

There is real and significant growth in demand for natural gas in the U.S. Northeastern and Eastern Canadian markets. TransCanada can provide the capacity to meet this demand.

TransCanada is capable, connected, and committed to meeting your capacity needs.

Capable

  • Existing capacity is available November 1, 2003
  • New facilities can be added quickly, targeted as early as November 1, 2005
  • You have choice in your transportation path - short haul or long haul capacity

Connected

  • Our connections with downstream pipelines provide direct access to growing markets
  • Approval of the Southwest Zone provides Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) production more cost effective access to the Dawn Hub
  • We offer access to diverse supply sources - WCSB at Empress and TransCanada's Northern Delivery area (NDA), as well as Mid-Continent and Gulf supply at the Dawn Hub

Committed

  • We provide timely access to supply and market, with existing and new capacity
  • We continue to deliver value to existing contract holders

The Combined Open Seasons will close on Thursday, September 18, 2003.
