> New to the Sales Team
Get to know our new Sales Representatives. We have recently made a few additions to our Gas Transmission West, Producer/Markets Sales team.

Mark Mulder, Sales Representative

Mark started with TransCanada in 1998 and worked in many areas of the System Design and Operations group. In the Gas Control area, Mark was responsible for monitoring and controlling facilities to ensure the required gas volumes, linepack and contract pressures were achieved on a daily basis. He learned a lot about the Alberta System in this role. He also worked in Customer Solutions, where he was introduced to the tools required to design the TransCanada System. He was responsible for evaluating customer requests to determine what facilities, if any, were required to accommodate these requests. Mark's most recent role was in Mainline Planning, where he developed long-term facility plans for TransCanada's Alberta and BC Systems.
Mark holds a bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Regina and a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta. Mark's extensive experience in TransCanada and the industry will be a valuable contribution to our Sales team. Mark Mulder can be contacted at 403.920.5333.

Al Barber, Sales Representative

Al is new to TransCanada and the gas industry. In the past he has worked with both crude oil and electricity commodities. Al's recent experience at TransAlta included trading Western North American real time physical power markets, scheduling transmission flows, and performing plant optimizations. Al also spent time with both Gibson Energy and EnCana in Crude Oil Marketing.
Al holds bachelor degrees in Commerce and Economics from the University of Saskatchewan. He is currently finishing a Derivatives Market Specialist designation through the Canadian Securities Institute and plans to begin a part time MBA early in the new year. Al's business education and energy sector experience adds a fresh perspective to our Producer Sales team. Al's direct knowledge of energy markets, logistics, contracts, negotiations and customer service will be of great value serving customers. Al Barber can be contacted at 403.920.5580.

These new faces are sure to make a welcome addition to our skilled Sales team.
