In a direct response to a customer request, we’ve recently updated the features of the NrG system regarding the IT Bid Rate Enhancement to help customers prevent potentially costly data entry errors. TransCanada developed a simple validation feature to address this request, and the feedback we’ve received from customers has been very positive. The IT Bid Rate Enhancement validation feature will be a big benefit for all customers by providing another check to ensure the bid price is correct.
The new IT Bid Rate Enhancement feature is an edit into the NrG system which provides customers with a validation message that lets them know when they have bid over the minimum IT Bid Rate. Customers then have the option to accept that they have bid over the minimum bid rate and continue with the “send” process or to go back to the nominations module and alter the bid rate on their nominations prior to sending.
