> AB Meter Station Process
TransCanada is moving to a more streamlined process for meter station construction on our Alberta System.

As of October 1, 2003, the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) will no longer be issuing permits to construct new meter stations. Consequently, TransCanada will no longer be required to obtain permits prior to constructing Alberta System meter stations.

Since the current process up to the actual submission of an application will remain the same, there is no significant process change for our customers. In the event that we receive any objections to a new meter station that can not be resolved, we would then submit a non-routine application to the EUB.

For more information about the EUB's change, please consult Revised Energy Development Applications and Schedules - Guide 56 or contact TransCanada.
