TransCanada is pleased
to continue our support for the annual Industrial Gas
Users Association's (IGUA) 2003
Natural Gas Conference in November. TransCanada has
a long-standing relationship with IGUA - an association
of industrial companies with plants located in Manitoba,
Ontario and Québec. The members are large users of natural
gas in their manufacturing and processing operations.
IGUA provides a coordinated and effective voice for its
member companies before federal and provincial regulatory
boards as well as with governments.
"IGUA's 2003 Natural Gas Conference in Montréal on
13 and 14 November will feature an industry exhibit
by 21 industry service providers, and 13 speakers covering
current topics including gas supply, markets and regulatory
perspectives," says Peter Fournier, President, IGUA.
"Among speakers will be the Chairmen of the NEB and
OEB".
A more bilingual approach has been taken for this year's
IGUA Conference. Simultaneous interpretation will be
provided between English and French for all topics.
Craig Frew, TransCanada's Vice President, Gas Transmission,
East will speak to delegates on "Delivering Gas to Eastern
Canada and the U.S. Northeast" on Friday, November 14,
2003 at 10:45am.
As a participant of the conference and a supporter
of IGUA, TransCanada will host a booth exhibit promoting
our gas transmission products and services. Please come
by booth 9 and 12 to learn more about our products and
services, and be entered in a draw.
"Not only does TransCanada have the opportunity to
gain and share information at the annual IGUA conference,"
says Iain MacRae, Sales Manager, U.S Northeast End Users
and Interconnects, "but provides for an opportunity
to build on our relationships with many of our customers."
Hope to see you there!
