On July 21, 2003,
TransCanada launched NrG Dovetail Alberta Contracting
to support Alberta System contractual transactions and
replace Application for Service (AFS). Thank you to all
customers who took the time to provide us with information
before and during the launch.
In August, the NrG Dovetail Alberta Contracting
project team surveyed our contracting customers. The
customers that responded to the post-release survey
overall indicated that 93 per cent of users found the
application easy to use. As well, 99 per cent of customers
agreed that TransCanada's rollout, (which included Town
Halls, Hands-on Training, Online Help, update e-mails
and Quick Reference Cards), prepared them adequately
to use the new application. Over 112 customers representing
97 companies attended the Hands-on Training sessions
prior to the rollout.
Feedback from customers also indicated that the number
one enhancement request was to provide the functionality
to do assignments electronically. A second release of
the NrG Dovetail application on September 15,
2003 now provides customers with the ability to perform
assignments online.
