> Alberta System Annual Plan
TransCanada filed the December 2004 Annual Plan for the Alberta System.

This document provides the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board (EUB), customers and other interested parties with details about planned facility additions and major modifications to the 23,080-kilometre (14,310-mile) Alberta System from November 1, 2005 to March 31, 2007. In addition to the details, it also provides an understanding of how specific facility applications fit into the overall long term development of the Alberta System.

TransCanada has completed 15 Annual Plans for the Alberta System. These are completed at the request of the EUB and represent the first stage of the facility application process. The second stage is the filing of the final technical, cost, routing/siting, land, environmental and other information required to complete the application for each facility contained in the Annual Plan.

This year's plan includes TransCanada's design methodologies and forecasts, as well as our long term outlook for system field deliverability, gas deliveries, design flows and proposed facilities requirements for the 2005/06 Gas Year and the winter season of the 2006/07 Gas Year.

The December 2004 Annual Plan is based on TransCanada's July 2004 design forecast of gas delivery and FS productive capability, which in turn is based on supply and market assessments we completed in May 2004.
