Daily FT-D Open Season (the “Daily Open Season”)
for Firm Transportation Delivery Service ("FT-D")
on its NGTL system.
Duration of Daily Open Season (August 17,
2005 until further notice)
Commences August 17, 2005 and Bids are due each business
day before 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time (MT).
Service Commencement Dates
For firm transportation services commencing November
1, 2005 – or earlier if capacity available.

Bidding Procedure Highlights
• Bid forms should be faxed to Bruce Newberry
at (403) 920-2384
• Minimum Term is one (1) year
• All Posted capacity will be at the EUB approved
toll $173.09/month Cdn$ per 103m3 (no discounts)
• Each Border requested must be on an individual
bid form
• Bid forms must be received prior to 3:00
p.m. MT.
• Successful bidders will be notified as soon
as possible after 3:00 p.m. MT.
• Bid information should include a minimum
and maximum acceptable quantity to the bidder.
Evaluation of Bids
• Bids will be evaluated according to the following
criteria:
1. Demand Toll multiplied by contract term.
2. Commencement of service date if bids are otherwise
equivalent i.e. service commencing on earlier start
dates will be given higher priority.
• If oversubscribed, tied bids will be allocated
prorata.
Notification to Customers & Financial
Assurances
• TransCanada will notify successful bidders
as soon as possible (no longer than one business day
after the open season closes).
• Successful bidders will be required to provide
financial assurances as required by TransCanada. For
financial assurance information please refer to paragraph
10.1 of General Terms and Conditions of the NGTL Tariff

• Once financial assurance requirements are
satisfied, TransCanada will send a formal contract
for execution.
