TransCanada Second Quarter 2008 Teleconference and Webcast Advisory

CALGARY, Alberta – July 18, 2008 – TransCanada Corporation (TSX, NYSE: TRP) (TransCanada) will release its second quarter 2008 financial results Thursday, July 31, 2008.  

Analysts, members of the media and other interested parties are invited to participate in a teleconference and webcast July 31 at 2:30 p.m. (Mountain) / 4:30 p.m. (Eastern) to discuss the second quarter 2008 financial results, and general developments and issues concerning the company.
